All three shoes are decorated with the designer’s classic red sole, reinterpreting the classic split-toe design with its exquisite craftsmanship: it is made of two independent materials, rather than the traditional split-toe cutting process, giving the shoes an elegant heart-shaped outline, like a woman’s clavicle line. This design cleverly echoes the concept of “unconscious charm” advocated by Maison Margiela – those charming images deeply rooted in the collective subconscious, injecting a subtle and implicit sexy temperament into the classic Tabi shoes.
