Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela launch first joint shoe collection

Maison Margiela’s iconic Tabi shoe. All three shoes are decorated with the designer’s classic red sole, and the classic split toe design is reinterpreted with exquisite craftsmanship: it is made of two separate materials instead of the traditional split toe cutting process, giving the shoe an elegant heart-shaped silhouette, just like the line of a woman’s collarbone. This design subtly echoes Maison Margiela’s concept of “unconscious glamour” – those charming images deeply rooted in the collective subconscious, injecting a subtle and implicit sensuality into the classic Tabi shoe.
